The Class 1 REGIONAL FLAT DECK/DRY VAN OPERATOR will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight between Calgary and Invermere, and throughout the Columbia Valley.

Monday-Friday (SATURDAY, & SUNDAYS OFF!)

Drivers would start and end their days from our yard in beautiful Invermere, BC. Drivers can expect 5-10 stops per day in CALGARY followed by a 3.5 hour RETURN drive to and from Invermere, BC with Step Decks or Dry Vans. As well as loads within the Columbia Valley. Must do proper Pre -trip and post trip.

  • A mixture of highway and inner-city driving
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all deliveries.
  • Daily Pre-Trip Inspections
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate the delivery truck in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the DOT
  • Adjusting weight and axles
  • Performing other tasks as assigned
  • Working on ELD and workflow
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Previous experience with commercial delivery driving
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with Airbrake certification.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn new skills and processes quickly
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual and available to work when required.
  • Availability after hours and weekends when needed
  • Compensation based on experience and qualifications
  • 50-60 hours weekly

Salary: $87,000.00-$99,000.00 per year

  • MOUNTAIN DRIVING: 2 years (required)
  • MANUAL TRANSMISSION: 2 years (required)
  • FLAT DECKING: 1 year (required)
