OUR STORY

Purchased over a decade ago by long-time Valley local, Mark Chabot, he rebranded the small trucking business as Columbia Valley Freight and successfully grew the company throughout his tenure. In 2019, he sold the company to his son, Mitch, who along with his wife and business partner, Brienne, have worked diligently to meet increasing demand and innovate the business. In the less than two years since, the pair have expanded routes, the schedule, the fleet, and the team–administration and drivers.

Mitch and Brienne are growing a thriving business that supports other regional businesses– and residents, too! The team looks to innovation in an “old fashioned” trucking era– route expansion, different product offerings, and a true partnership with customers as a way of doing business.

"Currently, we are focused on technology solutions to improve our communications with both our customers and our team of drivers."

The couple works hard to foster a workplace where employees are satisfied and proud to be
employed; where they feel valued. Theirs is a community-focused approach and a commitment
to support the growth and the prosperity of small businesses throughout the region.
